Our trip to Porthcawl.

What a fantastic day we had at the beach!
We had lots of fun making our own contemporary art using natural materials we found at the beach. We were inspired by artist such as Andy Goldsworthy, John Dahslen and Judith Selby Lang.
We built towers using pebbles and then counted how many we used.
Then we had great fun making sand angles in the sand. We wrote our names in the sand and had a sandcastle competition. All our sandcastles were so amazing that we all had stickers. We all played in the sea and tried to jump over the waves.
We saw a lifeguard who helped us over the pebbles to get off the beach. We saw his lifeguard hut and the red and yellow flags. We visited the beach cafe before lunch and finished our day with a visit to the park where we had an awards ceremony for the parents.
