Happy New Year!Many thanks for the gifts we received and we hope that everyone had a great Christmas. The children were definitely very excited in the lead up to Christmas and have enjoyed showing and telling us about one of their presents from Santa.The DVD of our Christmas concert is still for sale if anyone is interested; just ask at the Nursery door. Our school trip was a huge hit with the children who were fantastically behaved. We will be planning another one this term and I’ll let you know soon.

Before we start this topic we thought we’d go somewhere cold and snowy with lots of penguins and elephants about! We read ‘Elmer in the Snow’ and next week we’ll be reading ’Cuddly Dudley’ so there is ice, snow and lots of penguins in class as well as an igloo! The children have done many assessment activities this week to see the progress they have made and Teddy target sheets will be given out shortly so that you can work with us in helping them to further develop their skills.
