Setting up dinosaur land

Some of the children were really interested in creating an area for the dinosaur in 'Dinosaur Land' our role play theme park. Lewis, Scott and Jayden worked especially well as a team putting in plants and rocks for the dinosaurs.

Dinosaur hunters!

We're on another mission and this time it's to follow the dinosaur footprints and find the tiny dinosaurs hiding in the undergrowth. We've got to describe them well so that the dinosaur hunters can cross them off their list then we'll get a reward-a dinosaur's toe nail! Let's go! Where's the first clue?

Our visit to Lovells

Well done nursery for making it all the way there and back. It's quite a trek for little legs and quite exhausting for the adults leading the groups. We were all worn out when we got back. It was great seeing the massive crane and other machinery, but such a shame we didn't get to see any brick laying. The children loved stopping at the park on the way back for a much needed rest. We couldn't stop for long this time so we'll plan another visit next half term.
