Our end of term party

We danced, then the Easter Bunny paid a visit. He hid lots of eggs, but it didn't take us long to find them all.

Red Nose Day

Thank you for supporting our Comic Relief day today. (Photos will soon be posted on our gallery). The children enjoyed the day and were in very high spirits but they still maintained a high level of behaviour which they were complemented on by visitors and other members of staff. Well done children! Ashton, Devon, Cameron and Morgan got certificates awarded to them in assembly for gaining 10 special stars in nursery for exceptional behaviour, hard work, politeness and sharing. Keep up the hard work nursery and I'm sure many more children will receive awards next week.
It was a horrible day weather wise and the children spent a lot of time constructing model cars and castles which they were proud to show. They worked alongside each other as well as together in large groups.
Layla and others were busy painting. Great fun and cooperative play was seen in the water area.

Planting peas

We have planted the peas in guttering to give them a head start. In a couple of months we'll be eating peas!

One week to go until the trip!

The children are already excited and are asking every day if it's the day of the trip. I visited Wiggley's on Sunday and I'm sure they'll have a great time.
It was such a cold day that the piglets were snuggled up in the back of their sty, but the lambs were a lot happier in their warm coats!

We're on a mission to help Mike the Knight

Queen Martha has asked us to give Mike a hand on his new mission. We've got to find out as much as we can about dragons to make into a small book that Mike can carry with him on his mission. We're reading some books with dragons in and drawing pictures of them for our special dragon books.
